Share Buttons for Google Sites
"Where are the share buttons? You know, so people can share our posts?"
I built a beautiful blog for a client on Google Sites.
Great content. Eye-catching images. Perfect layout.
But then came the client question I couldn't answer:
"Where are the share buttons? You know, so people can share our posts?"
I looked through every Google Sites menu. Every option. Every setting.
Nothing.
"Let me get back to you on that," I said, knowing full well what was coming.
I searched online forums:
"How to add share buttons to Google Sites?"
"Social share buttons for Google Sites?"
"Why doesn't Google Sites have share buttons?"
Turns out, everyone was asking the same question.
The solutions? Complex embed codes from third-party services. Iframes that didn't resize properly. Buttons that looked completely out of place.
Google Sites doesn't have share buttons - and let's face it, they should.
So I built it.
